About the Position

La mission de Nuru est de fournir à 5 millions de personnes des services énergétiques et de connectivité de classe mondiale d'ici 2024. Fondée en 2015, la société entre maintenant dans une phase de croissance rapide. L'équipe IT recherche un stagiaire IT qui  assiste le coordinateur IT dans la maintenance des services cloud.

Key Responsibilities

_Fr

• Seconder le coordinateur IT dans la maintenance et l’administration des plateformes de comptage (Sparkmeter, Acuvim et autres). Contribuer dans la procédure de sélection de nouveaux fournisseurs de compteurs intelligents
• Contribuer dans l’administration et la configuration du Salesforce
• Contribuer dans l’administration de Microsoft 365 et Azure

_En

• Support the IT coordinator in the maintenance and administration of metering platforms (Sparkmeter, Acuvim and others). Contribute to the selection procedure for new smart meter suppliers
• Contribute to the administration and configuration of Salesforce
• Contribute to Microsoft 365  and Azure administration

All Candidates Must Have

_Fr

• Diplôme universitaire en informatique, technologies de l’information, systèmes d’information ou discipline connexe.
• Bonne compréhension des systèmes informatiques en général
• Connaissances de base en réseaux et télécommunications
• Bonnes compétences en communication en français et en anglais, tant écrite qu'orale
• Une expérience dans Salesforce ou Sparkmeter serait un grand plus.

• University degree in Computer science, Information technology, Information Systems or related discipline.
• Good understanding of computer systems in general
• Basic knowledge of networks and telecommunications
• Good communication skills in French and English, both written and verbal
• Background in Salesforce or Sparkmeter would be a big plus

Nuru (Swahili for “light”) is a company dedicated to enhancing connectivity in the Democratic Republic of Congo, with a goal of providing 10 million delighted Congolese people with world-class power by December 2030. Nuru deployed Congo’s first solar-based mini-grid in 2017 and has a 1.3MW solar hybrid site in Goma, the largest off-grid mini-grid in sub-Saharan Africa. We have another solar hybrid site in Beni and two in the Oriental province (Tadu & Faradje).

Nuru was first established under the name Kivu Green Energy in August 2015. We changed our name in September 2019 to reflect our expansion beyond the Kivu regions into other parts of DRC.
